A NARRATIVE INQUIRY: THE BENEFIT OF JOINING INSIGHTFUL ENGLISH DEBATING SOCIETY (INSIDERS)

This study explores the benefits of joining a debate club insightful English debating society, researchers attempted to utilize narrative inquiry to enable participants to voice
and express what they felt about the benefits of joining Insiders. Participants shared their experiences regarding the benefits of joining Insiders. The participants in this research were the two members of Insiders who also belonged to the debate club Insiders. They have joined the Insiders debate community since 2020. This research uses narrative inquiry research methods with techniques of data analysis such as data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings from this narrative investigation show that the results of the five findings of the benefits of joining the Insiders debate community such as Increase
confidence, Broad understanding in the area of English insight, Analytical capacity and critical thinking, cooperatively building a network of relationships the chance to learn from others, Enhancing performance and preparing for a career, which is the benefits of joining Insightful English Debating Society (Insiders).
